  • I am Pleased to see Free Pentecostal Fellowship Church is doing good. I remember when we build the church where it stands today from what I see. As a child my grandmother Veda Tackett. took my brother James and I to church at the house in Painesville. We started out having service in the basement of Brother Yorks house. Loyd and Roscoe use to play the snare drum. they show James and me how to play it. not too sure what Herman played as he was real young at the time. Marry played the piano Jane would sing as Patsy and Vicky would play the tambourine and sing. Many great Sermons Brother York Preached in that Basement. I believe that was lot of my best Memories. Janie shared a time in her life when the clouds at night was darken and the moon shine bright threw the clouds. as I recall she said that what it is like to be a child of God. to stand out and shine even when darkness is all around. some days James and I got to stay and play after Sunday school and our Grand Mother would come back to church; we would go home with her. From the Basement to renting a building in Painesville. Once more the service was great, the songs and preaching were all ways a blessing and memories I hold dear to me. I remember a time when Emauel Hall had a Juice harp he would play. till this day he was the only one I ever seen play one. few years later the ground was set to build the church on its own land. I remember my grandfather woody Tackett doing the plumbing. James and I help hammer some boards but soon we were told to go outside and play. as it seems James and I hammer like lighting, never struck the same spot twice. I shall close now thank you for all your love and Prayers May God bless you all and keep you safe. Your Brother in the Lord Richard Burk
